Strengthened Partnerships Among Local FM and Community Radio Networks and Reproductive Health Agencies on HIV/AIDS

This CD-ROM emphasizes the importance of broadcast media in disseminating information about reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention. It contains audio files, slide presentations, and country follow-up action plans from regional training workshops in Johannesburg, South Africa (March 2003) and Manila, Phillippines (May 2003).

The project aims to strengthen partnerships among local FM and community radio networks and reproductive health agencies to jointly develop effective and compelling communication programmes on HIV/AIDS, under the premise that culturally sensitive and research-based radio programming and content is more effective for social and behavioral change.
