Research and Capacity Building Associates: Contractual Engagements

Associates are attached to various ADBI research and capacity building projects, working with supervising staff or visiting scholars. Associates serve as independent contractors in a personal capacity and are neither officers nor staff of the Institute, and must be Japan-based prior to engagement.

We post here specific associate positions when they become available. Also, we welcome curriculum vitae of researchers associate candidates for inclusion in our database, if you meet these criteria:

• University degree in Economics or relevant fields
• Sound knowledge of development economics
• Familiarity with poverty issues in developing Asia and the Pacific
• Demonstrated excellent English oral and written skills
• Ability to work with senior officials and academics.
• Resident of Japan, with valid permission to work, if applicable.
