Bidders for contracts and offering services for activities financed by ADBI must be nationals of ADB’s member countries.

ADBI consultant recruitment rules and procedures are consistent with ADB’s Guidelines on the Use of Consultants by the Asian Development Bank and Its Borrowers^* and ADB’s Project Administration Instructions^*.

ADBI generally follows ADB’s Procurement Guidelines^* for supply of goods and completion of civil works.

In line with the Institute’s objectives and requirements, ADBI has sought to simplify ADB’s rules and procedures to the extent possible, to adjust them to ADBI’s specific needs.
