Impact of Rural Roads in Agrarian Reform Communities

This presentation summarizes the preliminary findings of an ADBI study on the impact of rural roads on poverty in Philippine agrarian reform communities. Initial findings suggest that while improvements in rural roads contributed to an aggregate decline in poverty, in general, non-poor households rather than poor households have benefited more from transport improvements.
