Rights and Obligations of Migrants - Presentation

This presentation by Vitit Muntarbhorn, Professor of Law Faculty, Chulalongkorn University, discusses rights and obligations of migrants as integral components of migration management systems and policies. Domestic policy debates on migrant rights happen in a broader international human rights dimension. This presentation presents the source and nature of migrants' rights and obligations, and particular policy needs and initiative. A review of international human rights instruments relating to the protection of individuals' basic rights, and more specifically to migrants' rights, is provided.
