Migration and Labor - Presentation

This presentation by Maruja M.B. Asis of Scalabrini Migration Center provide a review of the main dynamics and supply/demand factors of labor migration in Asia. The effective management of labor migration is a key to ensure that all stakeholders will benefit from cross-border labor mobility. For this reason, labor migration policy challenges is discussed and questions are raised on how to reconcile increasing flows of labor migration with the protection of migrant workers and their dependents.
