Wireless Reach

This presentation describes one example of how the private sector can help develop entrepreneurship at the grassroots level. Highlighted are the “Wireless Reach” initiatives of the telecommunications corporation Qualcomm in China and Indonesia. These initiatives aim to provide entrepreneurial opportunities to microfinance borrowers through increased access to communications technology.
