Microfinance at IFC

This presentation describes the International Finance Corporation’s microfinance strategy. The IFC promotes commercial microfinance through the establishment of greenfield private sector MFIs, the transformation of MFIs into regulated entities, commercial bank downscaling and technical assistance to strengthen MFIs. The presentation profiles IFC’s role in the transformation of a Cambodian NGO to a full service commercial bank.
