ROO practices and issues in Pakistan's FTAs

The paper on "ROO practices and issues in Pakistan’s FTAs" was presented at the Workshop on Simplification and Harmonization of Rules of Origin (ROO) held from 18 to 21 March 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand. It highlights that Pakistan does not have specific law on ROO, so ROO are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Following a simple procedure, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry can issue certificates of origin and there is no requirement for registration.
