Poverty Reduction Strategies in Asia: ADBI Annual Conference

Background

Achieving sustained reductions in poverty requires rapid economic growth. However, growth alone will rarely be enough. There are ways in which countries can reach the poor in a 'growth plus strategy'.

This conference will examine alternative ways of complementing the impact of economic growth on poverty reduction by looking at diverse experiences across the region.
