ADBI Annual Conference: Infrastructure and Development: Poverty, Private Sector Investment, and Regulation

Background

Two of the core themes of ADBI activity are poverty reduction and private sector development: this event explores their links with the infrastructure sector. Infrastructure bottlenecks remain a critical constraint to growth and poverty reduction efforts in many developing member countries. The role of the private sector in overcoming these is potentially very important.

The conference will be opened by ADB President Tadao Chino.
