Ten Years After the Crisis: Evolving East Asian Financial Systems and Challenges Ahead

Background

This international conference will examine the evolution of East Asian financial systems ten years after the 1997-1998 crisis, and the challenges ahead. It will also analyze trade and investment issues, revisit policy responses to the crisis and discuss regional economic development trends.

The conference is jointly organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) and the Policy Research Institute (PRI) of the Ministry of Finance, Japan.
