Costs

Course participation, including attendance to videoconferences and access to webcasting, is free of charge. Course materials may also be downloaded from the internet free of charge. In countries with large number of participants, the MFDL CD-ROM and Workbook will be made available to participants by local organizers at minimal costs.

To ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the course, participants who would like to receive online tutoring services are required to pay a modest fee of US$50. Based on previous participants’ evaluations of the course, the tutoring services are highly recommended, especially for participants seeking accreditation. Interested participants are encouraged to seek financial support for taking the course from their employer and/or microfinance capacity building funds available through local microfinance networks.
