Finalization workshop: ADB Study on Emerging Asian Regionalism - Ten Years after the Crisis
Purpose
The aim of this workshop is to review how Asian countries underwent two decades of dramatic change, from the rapid economic growth of the mid-1990s, to the large setbacks during the crisis, to the renewed sustained expansion of today a decade after the 1997-98 Asian financial countries with focus on Asian regionalism.
Objectives
The workshop will review how countries were able to transform crisis into opportunities, analyze issues related to the financial, trade, and investment sectors, and will discuss the future of Asia and perspectives for deepening regional cooperation and integration.

Final draft of ADB Report on Emerging Asian Regionalism
Participants
Participation is by invitation only. About 50 international economic experts, heads of Asian, North American and European think-tanks, and ADB staff.
