Yung Chul Park, Research Professor and Director, Center for International Trade and Finance, Graduate School of International Studies, Seoul National University discussed East Asia’s adjustments to global imbalances and the sub-prime crisis at a distinguished speaker seminar on 13 March 2008. More specifically, he analyzed global imbalances, the sub-prime crisis, East Asia’s adjustments to the US recession and sub-prime crisis, decoupling of East Asia from global business cycles, and new initiatives of ASEAN+3 for economic growth and stability in East Asia.
