    We post all employment opportunities on our web site and sometimes also on ADB's web site.* Depending on the position, we may also advertise in relevant newspapers or magazines. Our research department considers applications for our Visiting Researchers program. Our capacity building group advertises staff consultant positions on our web site.

    To be eligible for employment as a staff, researcher, or consultant, you must be a national of an ADB member country.

  4. Back to Top How competitive is ADBI's employment package compared to similar organizations?

    ADBI offers a competitive package similar to that offered by the World Bank Group. The salary structure is reviewed annually. The cost of living adjustment for Tokyo is reviewed quarterly.

    No. English is ADBI's working language.

  6. Back to Top Does ADBI provide scholarships?

    ADBI does not have a scholarship program.

    However, the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program was established in April 1988 with financing from the Government of Japan. It aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB's developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.
