Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the ADB Institute, I'd like to welcome you all to tonight's awards ceremony. I particularly want to welcome the stars of the evening, the award-winning journalists. I also wish to acknowledge the presence of an important group of ambassadors and diplomats, and senior officials from the Government of Japan and multilateral agencies.
