The target audience for these projects includes sponsors, development agencies, researchers, teachers, students and policy makers. The output is disseminated in terms of research publications (books, monographs and papers in journals) and policy briefs.
National Strategy for Urban Poor
The study analyses the livelihood issues of low income households and their accessibility to productive employment opportunities, health and basic amenities. It aims at drawing policy conclusions to reduce poverty and improve the overall well-being of the low income households.

Trade, Environment and Poverty
This study examines the impact of increased aquaculture exports, consequent on trade liberalization on the ecosystem of the Sundarbans in West Bengal. Related effects of different aspects of human well-being are also investigated into.

Infrastructure Development and Poverty Reduction in India
This is a research project in cooperation with Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, jointly funded by the Swiss NationalScience Foundation (SNSF) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which aims at assessing the effect of infrastructure development on poverty reduction.

Growing Rural-Urban Disparity"(Case study of the Himalayan State of Uttaranchal)
The main focus of the study is on agricultural development, rural poverty, social services and the economic opportunities. How growth and the economic opportunities help in reducing rural poverty and impacts on urban-bias is studied in detail.
