Building Reports from Owner and Design Company of Kasumigaseki Building

In response to an enquiry from ADBI, the owner of the Kasumigaseki building, Mitsui Fudosan Co. Ltd., issued a letter dated 22 March 2011 describing the systems in place and inspection it had made following the 11 March earthquake.

Mitsui Fudosan has provided ADBI with another report prepared by the design company of Kasumigaseki building, Yamashita Sekkei Inc. This report describes the fundamental seismic resistance capacity of the building, based on an assessment in 2007. It also reports on the impact of Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake, based on an examination of the building in May 2011.
