Visiting Researchers and Fellows

ADBI has two programs that allow visitors to spend time with us in Tokyo working on a topic of mutual interest:

1. ADBI has a Visiting Researcher Program that is run competitively for researchers from ADB's developing member countries. Research proposals are carefully reviewed and evaluated by a Selection Panel. Successful applicants are invited to ADBI, Tokyo generally for a maximum of six months. View application procedures.

2. Under the Visiting Fellow Program, ADBI engages a small number of outstanding scholars from all ADB member countries to participate in ADBI's research activities. We undertake an evaluation process similar to the visiting researcher program.
